Woodland Nettles

This piece is drawn from a peaceful walk along the side of Slieve Foy, a patch of woodland full of nettles, butterflies and wildlife that’s been left undisturbed to flourish. I was drawn to the contrast between the dark pines and the wild undergrowth.

A two-layered screen print in black and sap green.

Each print is hand-pulled and float mounted on warm-toned Fabriano paper to enhance the layered colour and fine detail. A limited edition of 200. Prints are unframed, shipped flat on a mount.
